Nose: Fresh agave sits at the core, edged by raw vegetal tones and a faint malolactic creaminess. A dusty earthiness drifts in, balanced by fresh cut grass and a lift of citrus that brightens the profile. Palate & Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel offers a medium coating weight, carrying sweet agave up front. Black pepper and anise follow with steady presence, while minerality and a buttery note add depth. Citrus peeks back through, tying it together with a touch of freshness. Finish: Black pepper and anise stretch into a slow, lingering close. Subtle yet clearly defined, the finish holds its ground without becoming heavy. Final Thoughts: A tequila that balances brightness and structure, with vegetal, earthy, and citrus notes anchored by pepper and anise. It’s layered without overreaching, and the steady finish leaves a quietly lasting impression.

Little bit of sweetness and agave on the nose along with a tad mustiness. Palate is easy going, not too complex and finish is soft. An easy sipper but missing complexity

Vessel: CT trail Hp Jarrito Nose: Grapefruit, Earth, Chamomile, Floral, Licorice, Must Mouthfeel: Medium to Full-bodied Palate: Jalapeño, Chamomile, Earth, Minerality Finish: Orange Peel, Agave, Vanilla, Cream Soda This is quite unique and complex. So much is going on with this expression from a grapefruit, herbal nose to a citrus, vanilla, and cream finish. Whatever you accuse this expression of being, one thing that you cannot accuse it of is being boring.

Light nose, not very bold, some agave/earth notes but not very much/complexity here. Pallet is earthy, minerality, light funkiness to it, some agave, overall pleasant, not going to blow you away in any regard but a decent sipper or mixer.

Nose: musty/ lactic / mineral/ hint of smoke / earth Taste: agave cooked / vanilla/ peppermint/ earth/ mineral / banana/ apple/ lime / orange/ anise / lemongrass / tea / nutmeg/ tobacco/ cream soda Finish: watery wet mouth feel / lingering pepper and agave sweet notes This plata needs some more work. I’ve had the Pozition Edicion blanco and it was better. This blanco was smooth, but the nose was not good snd the taste, considering the higher sbv (46%) , just felt like there could have been a lot more bolder flavors.

Mouthfeel is nice and silky with cooked agave, citrus (like grapefruit mixed with sugar), cinnamon, slight anise, nice black pepper on the back end.

Pleasant nose with sweet cooked agave and citrus. A touch of licorice and grapefruit. Slight alcohol presence. Nice mouthfeel. Good viscosity. Again, agave and citrus dominate. Alcohol is present on the tongue and may overpower some of the other flavors. Larger sips help. I am getting jalapeño and black pepper. I would recommend this tequila as just a sipper but I also think it would make a banging mixed drink.

Nose: Creamy cooked agave that’s slightly buttery, soft floral notes, bright citrus, sweet peppers and cracked white pepper all riding on some sweet but slight alcohol vapors. - Taste: First Sip - Sweet cooked agave, vegetal notes, slight citrus and then bright white pepper with a long cinnamon finish. Subsequent sips: Natural sweetness from cooked mature agaves, Earthy green vegetal notes, bell peppers and jalapeños. Bright citrus rind and fresh cracked white pepper. There’s a buttery and oily mouthfeel. The finish is pleasantly peppery. - It’s a fun sipping blanco and it’s meant to share. 1 Liter - 46%ABV 92 proof

AgaveSwappers 5/12/26 Nose: not overpowering, some clear agave and yeast, more neutral than expected. Then palette has more punch then the nose. Palette: comes in a little hot, then mellows. Not unpleasant, but a bit aggressive. Has some faint minerality and yeasty flavors. Sips 3+ help appreciate it a bit more after it opens up. Finish: decently long with pepper and some mineral funk to it. Some faint cheese notes. Overall, nothing special, but a decent option at $70 per liter. Nice clean blanco. Bonus for being 92 proof for their standard blanco.

received as an Agave Swappers special sample from Matt Cavanaugh! Thanks Matt! This offering is strongest in the mid palate to finish. The front end is excellent, but not amazing. I could see myself ordering this bottle in the coming days.

Nose of agave, earth, black pepper, anise and some light mint. this is a very vegetal and earthy tequila in the palate and finish. it's not quite the flavor profile of my preference but it's clearly well made finish lingers quite a long while. fairly complex. the black pepper note is strong. some bitterness. this long lasting finish is really satisfying probably the best part of the experience. the whole thing is growing on me as I continue to taste.

This one i have scored it before but recently revisiting, This is how blancos should be at a higher proof (96 proof). you get a bit of malolatic funk/cooked agave on the nose. The taste has some cooked agave, agave bomb sweetness that i do enjoy. I'm really liking Xolo.

Nose: citrus/grapefruit, agave, a little smoke and some grass. Nothing too complex. Palate: Sweet agave and that same hint of grapefruit and maybe orange. Grass and minerals. Light alcohol. Finish: Not a very long finish. The minerals, still some grass. Some peppery spice and that same light alcohol burn. Not unpleasant at all, but just enough to let you know it’s there.
