Awesome nose, tapatio excellencies reminiscent, fruity, agave, rich barrel notes, honey, dried fruit, coffee, chocolate, leather, it's very in depth, it's like a big hug from the barrel. Pallet is the same but has an interesting burnt rubber / smoke note that I found interestingly nice. It's all of the rich agave and barrell notes you'd expect

Deep inhale: the familiar notes of peppermint and anise from the blanco carry through seamlessly, now accompanied by caramel and light banana from the barrel, along with a hint of fruitiness. On the palate, a bold wave of anise leads, immediately followed by a gooey cooked agave note (reminiscent of sweet potato), sharp and distinct peppermint, spearmint, fruit, cedar, honey, and banana. Familiar orange peel, green grape tang, and grassy tones add dimension, while a piquant brine note supports rather than distracts. The finish offers gentle minerality, fading notes of black pepper, a clinging sweetness of agave, and a grassy freshness, with a lively ethyl warmth that creeps in as the final note.
