“Less creamy and buttery than the chapter 3. Oak, Vanilla, cinnamon reminds me of cinnamon hot candy’s, light anice and licorice. A bit more dryer than chapter 3. Cocoa, walnut, banana bread. Overall a bit more tamed than chapter 2. Good price ”

“Creamy and buttery, as it opens more flavors come out the Chardonnay barrel is def there. Sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, flan like, tropical with some hints of pineapple as well. Very easy to drink with minimal heat. The price is excellent as well I paid 47.99. For me I think the sweet spot is at 42.5% the blanco and this one are really good!”

Citrus grease fruit rind Not a fan of the finish had a bitter finish. This is ok not a high 90s like some have been claiming in the ratings. Ocho brand in general is a hit or miss for me ”

Good sipper let it rest for a bit and it tames. Overall decent blanco would not say it’s the best I’ve had but it’s good would buy another bottle depends on how much you get it for I paid 69.99 but I’ve seen it for 59.99 to 69.99 by me. As it opens up the alcohol tames and some nice aromas come out.”

“Aroma: cinnamon, raw agave, vegetal, alcohol, aroma is kind of bland not much going on besides the notes , Taste: alcohol, it’s kind of bland some vegetal notes raw agave, some almond notes The aroma is much better other than that kind of bland not much going on easy supper but nothing that really stands out as far as how it’s sold it’s was a limited release where some cases of regular Calle 23 included this but I belive like 1 bottle and some places have been selling it in a package to get this. ”

“ Añejo lot 70A Aroma: oak, caramel, honey, piloncillo, vanilla, slight agave, flan, earth, alcohol, pepper, wood, burnt sugar, pencil shavings, caramel hard candy, Palate: tabacco, honey, dirt, piloncillo, smoky, oak, lingering slight sweetness and wood taste honey finish with wood and slight smoke from the barrel coffe like cafe de hoya , warming finish not too much of a bite really enjoyable lingering finish wood and slight honey , this is one of my favorite añejo lots from fortaleza. As far as price if you can find this at retail depending on were you live which around me it’s 115 or so then buy it but paying more than that I would not some places have been charging 200 to 300 and that’s insane I get why they do it but there’s plenty of really good tequila to buy for less ”

“Aroma: cooked agave, citrus, some hints of cinnamon, flowers, orange peel, vegetal, lime, a slight banana note , vegetal, oergano, slight olive , alcohol Palate; cooked agave, raw agave, cinnamon more present on the taste but light still, citrus, anise, vegetal, hints of wood slight, lime, some brine, olive, alcohol Very easy drinking minimal alcohol burn the aroma is sort of muted nothing crazy or that stands out, taste almost the same nothing that stands out if San ok blanco sort of your beginner blanco I would say if someone wants to try something that better than your casamigos or says they don’t like tequila because they have had something that has horrible. Overall it’s decent blanco but nothing really special interested to try the batch 2 ”

“Aroma: vegetal, cooked agave, a creamy lactic almost yogurt like aroma, alcohol very in your face, pepper, citrus, orange, anise, butter, fruity, earth, Palate: earth, cooked agave, citrus, orange, vegetal, alcohol, anise, mineral, black pepper, licorice, basil, dough like, The alcohol is very lingering as you sip and after. I enjoy the aroma better, start hot with earth like notes, slight butter and licorice and anise with a vegetal tone. Not my favorite high proof. Compared to some of the other new ones out there this falls short for me just too much alcohol not balanced ”

“ Nose: vegetal, cement, wet stone, minerality, wet earth, alcohol, pepper, citrus, floral, flowers, fruity Palate: floral, cement, pepper, light smoke, minerality, slight butter finish, citrus, cooked agave, brine, herbal, licorice, anise Cooked agave, briny cement stone long finish, minerality, light minimal hints of smoke barely there, I get a bitterness finish that I am not a fan of, for 49 does not drink like it very balanced and not burning overpowering note. More Alcohol on the aroma, vegetal lingering taste, warm finish. I get some some slight cocoa at the end a bit The finish was at first a bitterness then transitioned into anise and licorice. It’s ok not a favorite definitely not worth what people are paying on the secondary market. ”

“Barely get any agave cake batter and artificial sweetener in the nose, green apple, cough syrup not palatable. The reason the score is so low is because this does not taste how tequila should taste very watery and could not finish this pour ”

“Aroma: Oak, wood, pepper, vanilla, Tabasco, bandaid, creamy, alcohol, pencil shavings, cooked agave, honey, Palate: oak, vanilla, alcohol, floral, cooked agave , cinnamon, lots of oak, finishes with some heat and peppery taste. On sipper, finished hot with pepper and oak and tannings leaves your mouth dry I gave this some higher points as I laid 19.99 and it was on clearance. It’s not bad but not my favorite profile a bit too much oak Sipper, mixer or both. Both nice night cap sipper and can make a good old fashioned ”
