“I get the hype! If I had been so lucky to have tried this before, I would rate a few tequilas quite a bit different. It’s a whole different level. Super clean citrus and vanilla on the palate with a plentiful sweet buttery aroma. It has an incredibly smooth lasting finish. A bottle like this affirms the affinity and draw to the art of tequila as a whole. Always new experiences to keep one’s interest peaked and desire to learn more a plenty. ”

“This blend actually grew on me as I progressed through the bottle. Abundance of orange aroma and flavour notes with hints of vanilla and perhaps honey. Initially the taste was decent, however I found a peppery bite in the finish that I felt took away from the overall product. Not sure how why or what, but I didn’t notice that peppery bite on the finish once the 1st quarter of the bottle was consumed. It is a little on the sweeter side and the prominent orange flavour is by far outside the norm of what a tequila purist may like. That being said, I felt it worked and found it quite refreshing and enjoyable. ”

“Clearly this is a love it or hate it tequila. It’s a very sweet tasting tequila which is why I assume purists aren’t fond of the product. I on the other hand am fond of the blend as it simply tastes great. The aroma is clean with bountiful caramel and hints of fruit. Maybe a bit buttery? The flavour is quite sweet with a wee bit overpowering caramel. The finish is super smooth considering the sweetness. At face value it’s delicious. If you are a purist, the sweetness masks the agave. Tonight I’m on this side of the coin toss and like it, however tomorrow I could easily be on the other side. For now, I recommend you give it a try. ”

“It’s been a while since I dusted off a bottle, therefore I’m either incredibly generous, or maybe it’s just that good. Aroma is fantastic with vanilla and oak. Maybe caramel? Flavour is same as aroma. It’s balanced exceptionally well. I would hope it’s as good as it is, as the price point isn’t overly kind to your wallet. I didn’t mind the price myself as it was my first time in “Milenio” territory. As I’ve now added to my tequila bucket list, next time I’ll split the cost and find two other good selections. ”

“Tequila Ocho gets it right both from a product and marketing perspective. Their products are fantastic. Many creative ideas are translated into many varieties of finished product. The nose and palate profiles are ever changing thus leaving the consumer ever curious and wanting more. I finally found some time to enjoy a 2016 Los Patos Anejo. The aroma was quite pleasant with hints of agave, caramel, butter and an ever so slight hint of fruit. The taste was just as much enjoyable with a pop of caramel followed by a light peppery finish. Overall the Los Patos is fantastic. The downfall of an ever changing product is finding a previous vintage such as the Los Patos. ”

“The caramel pops on the nose. It’s hard to find much else, but in all honesty, who needs to? It’s a simple aroma but done exceptionally well. The taste goes from heavy caramel to either more caramel or vanilla with subtle hints of cooked agave, oak, and maybe a touch of black pepper. It’s not complex at all. Fairly simple but very enjoyable tequila. It’s heavy on the aroma, taste, and unfortunately the wallet. I would never say no to an offering, but unless the price comes down a bit, probably would choose to try a different product within the same price point. ”
