“this one really missed the mark for me. extremely sweet, almost tastes like French vanilla syrup / creamer. candied fruit, oak extract of some kind. par for the course for 1438. I was told this brand was different than the rest but until I try their high proofs, I'll have to lump them in with the rest of the overmanipulated brands of casa maestri. ”

“I really wanted to enjoy the volcan cristalino, as it is one of the very few additive free cristalinos, but this came off so astringent to me. it was bitter, had a little bit of fruit flavor. small amount of spice and nuttiness but overall was not pleasant for me. tried to let it air out, tried to use different glasses, and it just didn't work. ”
