“A well made product if you like additives. Vanilla and caramel definitely overwhelm, but its eminently drinkable and a good value. Not what I’m looking for in an añejo personally ”

Mijenta Tequila Reposado

“Visual: Medium viscosity, clear honey color (almost like a white wine) On the nose: Strong vanilla and honey, very floral Palate: Toasted agave, caramel/toffee, honey, something fruity?? like grilled banana or plantain? not sure but I like it! Finish: Smooth and sweet, long lasting, very light heat Extremely impressed with Mijenta and this reposado. It's really amazing how much nuance they're able to distill into this spirit and it continues to open up the more time I spend with it. It's balanced and elegant in a way that I usually only find in anejos and XAs. And, not for nothing, I love the bottle design. The only drawback is the glass bottle stopper. It's a cool idea but not super functional.”

“Definitely can taste the additives. Super sweet vanilla and oak. Not a bad product but not what I’m looking for in an XA. Tastes very similar to Adictivo ”
