“Aroma has a nice blend of cooked agave and an oaky, almost smoky scent. It tastes exactly like it smells. The finish is a bit harsh, I detect a little peatiness. To my palette, the oak/aged flavor doesn’t allow the agave notes to come through as much as I’d prefer. Overall decent for around $50 I’d like to try the blanco”

“Purchased at Whiskey Tango’s in Ozark. Around $43. Great agave aroma. One of the best aromas of any blanco, for me. Taste just like it smells. Agave forward. Minerally. A sweet middle and smooth finish. It’s a solid blanco at a very nice price. ”

“Possibly the most agave-forward aroma of any tequila I’ve had to date. Taste is also heavy agave, and extremely smooth. Picked up at Specs in Houston October 2023”

“Gifted by a friend. Thanksgiving 2023. NOM 1616 Heavy agave nose. Just an overall strong blanco smell. Not my favorite blanco but good enough to sip. Get a hint of vanilla about halfway through. Finish is a little bitter. ”

“Kind of heavy alcohol on the nose. Tastes better than it smells. Smooth finish. All blanco. Not my favorite. About $35 at Specs in Houston”

“$70 Bought at Specs in Houston Very light aroma. Surprisingly lacking. Smooth in the tongue yet not complex. Fruity flavors, banana, tastes a bit tropical Overall I’d drink again but not super impressed. ”

“Ordered at the bar at Casa Bella in Springfield. September 2023 Small pour as it finished the bottle. Smells amazing. Heavy agave. Maybe a floral aroma. Hits the tongue and has a unique sweetness. Not additive laden sweetness. A pure flavor. Clean and smooth finish Would love to get a bottle of this one. ”

“Very nice agave forward aroma. When it first hits the tongue you can taste the oak. It never gets any stronger, like you’d expect, but it does linger throughout. It then has a smooth sweetness with strong agave notes, maybe a little citrus. I don’t taste the vanilla like others have. There is a nice pepper bite on the finish. For a reposado, I’d say it might be closer to an anejo with a more aged profile. I was gifted this bottle so I’m not sure of the value. I’ll drink it again and I’m half expecting it to taste a little more smooth after the bottle has been open a bit. ”

“Tried it at Kalaveras Mexican Whittier / Los Angeles July 2023 $16/pour Great aroma, agave forward, slight hint of aging, but not oaky or harsh. Tastes just like it smells. Delicious. A solid repo. ”

“Lots of agave when it first hits the tongue. There is a slight sweetness. It’s a tad hotter, at 84 proof, but after the 2nd and 3rd taste it turns into some great depth with strong agave, pepper and citrus flavors. Has some mineral flavor but not smokey at all. Finish is nice and leaves you wanting more. ”

“Picked up at Hyvee in Columbia, MO April 2023 Around $75-80 Lighter aroma than some, but very good overall nose. Extremely smooth. The bottle I have is a 81.4 proof. The finish is perfect. Very sippable tequila. A fella could drink a lot of this if he wasn’t careful!”

“$55 Reposado The smell is incredible. Sweet agave aroma. First hits the tongue and it has a soft sweetness but very smooth as it turns to agave Maybe a small hint of oak but not overpowering. The finish is about perfect. It lasts but not too strong. Big fan of this one. ”

“OMG To days this is my favorite tequila (12/25/22) The aroma is strong agave, oak and sweet. When it hits your tongue there is a sweet taste immediately followed by a plethora of agave, oak, and I don’t know exactly what else. A good spice but not harsh The finish is as good as the start. For 60 - it’s a steal!!!”

“Very smooth smell. Mostly oaky. Tastes warm and smooth with very little bite or burn A bit bourbon-like, but a very solid bourbon. The finish is that of a quality product. 82/bottle is ok. Probably where it should be, but not a $100 bottle. Definitely could sip this regularly After having this a while it is a bit more peaty and oaky than I prefer. ”

“$54 Alamo City downtown 12/22 Nice agave smell and taste. Seeetness when it hits the tongue. Definitely can taste the oak. It’s very warm and impactful, yet smooth and sippable. Has a tad of a peaty aftertaste but not in a bad way Good anejo for 54 bones It’s a light color for an anejo ”
