Tequila G4 Reposado
“Oddly, I find this Repo to be hotter (not peppery hot, like bourbon hot) & have more bite than the Extra Anejo. Still a very pleasant drink with ice. Got more earthy/plant smell from this. Gets smoother with a bit of water, also gets a bit sweeter. Water seems to open up the flavors for me, definitely more pleasing to drink.”

Tequila G4 Extra Añejo
“Very pleasant smell, slightly sweet, definite agave hints. Super smooth, not hot or strong. Gets slightly sweet with a bit of ice. I wish my nose & tongue were more sensitive to get more flavors from this. Definitely will buy again when I can find it.”

“Not super hot/bourbony. Guessing it might be a young anejo. Definitely an enjoyable supper. Slightly sweet, light vanilla taste.”

El Tesoro Tequila Reposado
“Starts off strong, quite peppery. But on ice, as it gets a little water in it, smooths right out. Not much aroma for me, neither straight out of the bottle nor after being in the glass.”

Codigo 1530 Añejo
“I'm not generally a fan of Anjeos due to the closeness to bourbon/whiskey. But I am enjoying this on ice. It has a nice caramel/butterscotch scent on the nose. Unfortunately I don't really don't taste those flavors. Still has the flavors of bourbon, but not overpowering.”

Insólito Añejo
“Not a big fan of anjeos, too close to bourbons/whiskeys & I don't like those. However, I am willing to try them & this one was pleasant to drink. Tried it neat, would try it again over ice. ”

Siete Leguas Reposado
“Lightly buttery on nose & tongue. Has some heat/spice on the back of the tongue, but not an alcohol burn. Personally, I might like it better with ice/dash of water. Very drinkable neat though.”
