Tanteo Jalapeño
“Great tequila for mixing a spicy drink with. By itself, it’s only meh, with a finish of jalepeño at the end. Not too spicy if you’re used to spice period. A good mild version that can stand out in drinks like a mango margerita. Compared to other “spicy” alcohols, this is a good 55/45 favoring tequila over jalepeño flavor. Good price for product though ”

ArteNOM Selección de 1123 Blanco
“So I compared this with cascahuin, also the same NOM. The extra proof shines through. It’s a very sweet forward and aromatic oral cavity feel. Smoothe sip, I personally feel it going down towards the end of the swallow, but I also think it’s that extra 3% of alcohol. I was also able to get this on sale at my local total wine so that’s why the value for it when it’s on sale is very nice to have sitting around to compare with same NOM different tequilas ”

Cascahuín Blanco
“Very fresh, clean, crisp type of profile. I’m not saying it smells or taste like cucumber, but that fresh aftertaste of eating a cucumber reminds me of the finish with this tequila. Very smoothe yet thick flavor on the pallet. Highly recommend ”

El Tequileño Reposado Gran Reserva
“This is a good tequila on the pallet, but sorta bland in flavor in my opinion. Comparing to other reposados, this one initially on the tongue is smooth and watery. But as far as flavor, it seems a little bland/watered down I guess? It’s a very clean tasting tequila but if you’re looking for flavor and more hints from age, not my go to. But good for a premium marg ”

ArteNOM Selección de 1579 Blanco
“Very light and refreshing. First ArteNom I ever tried. Smooth, a little fragrant of a fresh cooked agave, refreshing cool water smell… kinda oddly satisfying Taste very smoothe and refined. Slightly sweet agave with a little floral and some sweetness mixed with air. As far as price goes, it seems reasonably priced for a nice blanco, especially with this NOM in el pandillo. Very enjoyable ”

Black Sheep Tequila Blanco
“Light agave on the smell, kinda alcohol dominant on smell and flavor, the mouth feel is rather thick For a blanco, and hits immediately with alcohol down the gulet. Lightly sweet cooked agave flavor but not very vibrant- again, it’s a blanco. Definitely taste the tequila burps with this one, $47 around my area for a pretty bottle, but nothing to bring home for nearly $50. Tequila ocho blanco or volanse tequila better for this price and also additive free. Also cascahuin. ”

Arette Blanco
“The smell is fine with a good vegetal aroma. The taste in my opinion is skewed. It tastes a little off for me, almost like a veggie peppar salad. It’s not bad for the price but this will alter mixed drinks ”
