“I’m going to start with the finish! It’s crazy long and there is A LOT going on there. It’s warm, spicy, peppery and, did I say this already? Very, VERY long. The best thing about this Blanco is 46% alc. That gives it a sparkle that anything at 40% simply cannot match. It would be fantastic in a margarita if you so choose. The nose is pure agave & jalapeño. But there is nothing subtle about this spirit. Everything is right in front of you and it’s demanding your attention. Unlike some other less quality tequila’s, it’s very clean all the way from start to finish with a huge peppery pop in the middle of it all. Yeah, I like this one!”

“As Blancos go, I’m not sure it gets much better if at all. The first nose hit me with dark chocolate and agave. Everything was right there, but not overpowering in any sense. A real connoisseur’s nose. Next, the mouthfeel is really nice on this one. The palate mimicked the nose at first. Dark chocolate and agave in the front that turned to a dry, creamy finish of nectar and vanilla I think. The finish lingered for a minute before the next sip. Absolutely incredible as silver tequilas go. You wont do better, IMO. After the first few sips, the nose changed to a light, citrusy smell that, again, was mimicked in the palate. Finish was the same dry creamy sensation. I love it. The only complaint I have is the price. Some may not find it’s worth the price it’s currently going for. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll buy it again and again, I just wish it wasn’t three figures.”

“I gotta say, not bad. Autoclave cooked products aren’t always my fav, but this one did pretty well when consumed very cold. Room temperature was a little less tasty, but put it in the freezer for 20 minutes and it really opened up for me. Smooth, smooth, smooth. That’s the best way to describe it. It kills the finish a bit so I think it could stand to be a little less proofed down ( which would make it less smooth, I know), but absolutely no harshness at all. I could sip it all day and be fairly happy. Nothing in the taste really jumps out at me but I get notes of agave and a little white pepper and some citrus maybe. It’s gotta nice little spicy pop in the back of the mouth as it goes down that I really enjoyed. That said, there are other brands that I’d go for before this one, but not bad at all. I think it’s a tad over priced though. If it were $10 - $13 less I’d always have it on the shelf. So I could buy it again…. If I see it on sale.”

“Patron is sorta, “right down the middle,” as tequila goes. You always get what you’re expecting here. Never any surprises. I like it, but not something that I go for neat. It’s a mid range mixer for me. Better than most, not as good as many. I love that Patron is a single brand NOM dedicated to one product, for that alone I will always have at least one on my shelf at home and in my establishment.”

“There is complexity to this tequila in every phase. The nose is crisp to the point that the flavors are identifiable. The taste is Agave, black pepper and I get pickled jalapeños in the back. Finish is smooth enough while not rolling off to the point that it falls flat. Not watery at all. An excellent sipper at a good price (I got it on sale for about $50 US. Nothing that I’ve EVER tried can beat it for that price). This is an absolute home run, touchdown and game-winning three rolled up in a tequila bottle. I can’t wait to have some more this weekend.”
