“Smooth taste, strong agave, and for an anejo not overly encumbered by secondary barrel flavours. In my mind, this is a great value for an Anejo, and because it still retains its pure tequila agave flavour, a perfect entry anejo. There is a slight peppery finish, but very easy to drink.. maybe a little too easy. ”

“This is a hard step up for me. My review may not be all that valuable, but i had a hard time getting through the initial assault to be able to fully understand what i was drinking. The agave is very smoky in my opinion, and the finish is sudden and sharp. This isn’t necessarily bad, but i think i need a bit more experience with this before i can fully appreciate this bottle”

Tequila El Mexicano Reposado

“I’m not a seasoned professional, but this smells very light with a mineral effect. It’s clean enough that i think i can smell the agave. The taste is much like others report… caramel, and silky with a pepper finish. I suppose this could be a whiskey crossover, but it doesn’t quite fit the profile for me. It’s straight tequila in my estimation.. and of course that’s perfect It’s delicious, and inexpensive, clean and smooth. I definitely recommend it in value alone. ”

“This is so clean and agave forward, that i can’t imagine there being a more perfect blanco. I’m still a novice taster, but the mineralization, the agave, the crisp taste makes this perfect for sipping and especially good in a Tomy margarita or ranch water. (Even just mixed with topo chico)”
