Nose: sweet agave cooked / caramel/ vanilla/ hint of lactic / light fruit scents / hint of lime / honey / alcohol Taste: sweet agave cooked / artificial vanilla and sweeteners / caramel/ lime / banana/ licorice/ orange peel / cinnamon/ cream soda Finish: medium level viscosity mouthfeel / lingering sweet agave, mint, artificial vanilla and sweetener take the center stage and dominate the experience This joven is enjoyable despite what I perceive to be a number of artificial sweetener and vanilla flavors.

This Joven has a sweet nose with alcohol vapors. Lemon zest and citrus. Earthiness, chocolate Tastes of agave. Very sweet and maybe artificially sweet. The high ABV works really well. I get buttery notes. Lots of vanilla and even some chocolate. The finish is nice with a little alcohol burn but considering the 51 ABV it is nice.

Solid joven, I would drink again

Barrel #25. #172/288 Nose: Nice pop of citrus, warm creamy agave, a touch of vanilla and a punch of cellar mustiness. Flavors: Viscous sweetness with a counterpoint of fiery pepper. Cinnamon and cloves punching their way into the forefront. There is pleasing lingering vanilla and the distinctive Casa Noble profile “funky” taste. Some bitterness. Finish is lengthy and tongue numbing.

reminds me of a nice warm bowl of oatmeal :)

My first joven, it was strong in flavor. Attempted to make a margarita with it but it's bold flavors were masked. Great sipper when in the mood.

As a huge fan of Casa Noble this is a product that I want to love. Off the top it has subtle hints of chocolate, agave, and mint. The initial taste is overwhelmingly powerful but finishes unbelievably smooth. After the first taste you almost get acclimated to the higher proof and can start to decipher some flavor notes. I taste notes of grass/agave and chocolate. As I mentioned before it finishes really smooth. This is definitely worth buying while it is still available.

Powerful aroma of cut grass and cucumber with slight notes of fruit and chocolate. Definite alcohol aroma present. Flavor is vegetal and spicy with peppermint and fruit present. Very long finish that lingers on the sides of the tongue and the back of the mouth.

Single Barrel - 1653. At $48, value was a 10. A beautiful high proof joven.

Caramel. Not carmel. Caramel. It’s the note in every sip. The joven isn’t the smoothest of pours but you wouldn’t know it was 102 proof if you didn’t read the label. There’s a sharpness to the finish but not in the taste. The agave masks the high proof as your mind races to unpack the similar ingredient finishes you think you are encountering. This is an old bottle I found at my local store for less than $25 so when it comes to a bargain I feel as if I may have stolen it.

Barrel 1006 bottle 63/282 Fruity and clean on the nose. Cooked agave, butter and some spice, nice sweetness, maybe some anise. Nice lasting finish with spicy heat on the finish. This is a good pour from Casa. The 4th expression I've tried from them and definitively the best so far.

Single barrel

Bottle 150of288, barrel 1009. Found this bottle in a hole in the wall store. I can only drink it over ice, way too strong neat. But it’s expected from the high proof. Typical casa noble funk .

Intense wood scent with oak and cherry undertones. Distinct smell of salt and citrus at the finish. The finish is lingering, warm, and protracted.

Wow forward aroma is heavy on the alcohol but at 102 proof that’s to be expected. Also some earthy tones. The big surprise here is that the peppery heat on the tongue is short lived and no “heart burn” swallow. Flavors are average to me but I really don’t try too many Jovens to know better. My rating may be low because of it.

great nose cng reminds me of the white cheese a bit of pepper and citrus with agave sweetness a hint of wood.

Very complex Joven, great depth and a richness that you don’t find in most Jovens. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one of these bottles.

Nose is a blast of earthy agave, vanilla, some citrus. Wonderfully big and full on the tongue. Giant wallop of agave, vanilla, citrus, some woody sourness. Finish is a 102 proof spicy fire with some burnt sugariness way in the back. Fantastic.

Barrel 662. Color is like that of a reposado. Nice tears and legs. Aroma is what you expect from a good Blanco, cooked agave forward with mint like notes and a little alcohol. This goes down smooth for a high proof. Soo much flavor. I like this one.

Neither amazed nor disappointed, a solid, clean blanco.
