“Definitely one of the best rosas on the market. I’ve tried Codigo, Montagave blanco and anejo, Cazcanes Blanco and Reposado, etc. Nice fruit notes from the wine but not overpowering the strong cooked agave flavor. This is definitely still a blanco tequila. Very easy to drink. For sure to be a competitor for the other high quality rosas on the market. ”

“I guess I’ve been spoiled by the Cazcanes Blanco and Repo Rosas at a higher proof because I’m really missing that here. However, that’s the only negative. Lots of wine barrel notes, fruit, baking spices, but still the agave shines through. Nose is peppery and ethanol. Some mint and stone fruit. Very easy to drink, which is unfortunate since I only have 2 bottles of this. ”

“Tried at a tasting at Specs in Houston. Was excited to try this since 1146 is known for their mastery of aging. I did like this significantly more than the blanco I tried just before. Definitely light notes of cinnamon, baking spices, butter, and lots of cooked agave. Would buy this over the blanco, but curious to try their other more aged expressions. Happy to see pretty bottles having additive free tequilas in them to convert some of the Clase Azul/ 1942 people. ”

“Tried at a tasting at Specs in Houston Texas Definitely a tequila from 1146 having tried several other blancos from there, it is recognizable with a dominant buttery and cooked agave flavor. While I wasn’t blown away by the flavor to pick up a bottle myself at around $70 since there are so many other amazing blancos out there for less. I would be interested in trying the Anejo or XA, which is what 1146 is known for. Happy to see pretty bottles having additive free tequilas in them to convert some of the Clase Azul/ 1942 people. ”
