82 SCORE“Nose: oak, vanilla, cooked agave, baking spices Flavor: oak, agave, vanilla, caramel, light mouthfeel Finish: very thin, short finish for an extra anejo Overall: not bad for the price, very affordable introduction to additive free extra añejos but not complex or full bodied to compete with good ones. The barrel notes overwhelm the agave and there is a bit of a burn but again for under $40, I can’t complain”
