A decent blanco, nothing overly remarkable. On the nose I get a bit of citrus, anise, lactic funk and sweetness. Palette has black pepper, anise and lemon. Finish is fairly muted.
Aroma/Taste: Aromas of cooked agave, petrichor, yeast, and hints of pear, apple cider, and dill. On the palate, flavors of cooked agave dominate, accompanied by refreshing notes of mint and subtle hints of anise. Finish: The finish offers a satisfying black pepper heat at the back of the throat, warming all the way down, providing a great conclusion to the tasting experience. Overall: Tasted blind, this blanco tequila presents a pleasing blend of flavors, with mint shining through as a highlight. An enjoyable choice, especially for those who appreciate the refreshing essence of mint in their tequila.
nose - cooked agave with loads of citrusy lime. Resembles a watermelon margarita. The cinnamon from the agave is much more present after the fruity/ citrus beginning. Taste- agave, slight minerality, citrus, and honey, nice white pepper finish
Nose - Agave, Funk(malolactic), nutty, earth, olive, alcohol Taste - Agave, brine, olive, pepper, cheese, lime It starts great, but in the middle, it turns a bit too cheesy and ends fairly nice with a peppery burn
Nose: Balanced between its citrus profile and its vegetive profile. Notes of raw agave, bell pepper, pineapple, and orange blossom. Palate: More fruit forward with notes of mango and papaya - little heat on the tongue. Minerality on the back end leading into the finish. Finish: Elongated finish, fruit forward with a touch of lactic acid. Notes of stone fruit, raw agave, and pear.
Aroma is a combination of Meyer lemon and rubber ball. Flavor is a bit hot, with more rubber, and a bit of ammonia. Medium finish, but the lingering flavor is one of my least favorite flavor compounds. I don’t love this.
Roast agave and a bit of ethanol on the nose leads to nice mouthfeel with slight viscosity. Some oiliness in the mouth with natural sweetness and a mid tongue finish, this fades to some citrus acidity. I feel like I should know what this is, lol.
TMM additive free blind. I’m the outlier here as this was my third highest. It’s nothing special, nose is soft and palate is easy with a slight pepper finish but I enjoyed it. High marks for a budget bottle.
TMM additive free blanco blind tasting kit. Aroma: a lot of alcohol at first. Have to fight through it pretty hard and that’s followed by a yeasty and nutty aroma. There’s a hint of agave sweetness and citrus. Somewhat floral as well. Flavor: a little agave sweetness. Some citrus. A little vanilla and cinnamon. There’s an odd bitterness though that isn’t that pleasant. Overall it’s very muted Finish has a lot of alcohol burn. It burns in the back of my throat and in my chest for at least 10 seconds
Blind tasting. Earthy and vegetal. Kinda thin on the finish.
tasted as part of tmm blinds apr 2024. I rated lower but added a couple points for value nose: a little fruit, some anise, slight malalactic taste: not a lot going on. subtle but not offensive finish: short with pepper
Nose is fruity with vegetal undertones. Really enjoyable and smells super clean. Oranges, pineapple, grass Extremely oily mouthfeel. Surprisingly oily and leaves a coat in your mouth. This is seriously almost as oily as fish oil or olive oil
nose hit with "bouquet" - largely floral but raw agave also comes thru balanced, spices with small taste of citrus, not quite "full" viscosity feel in mouth finish is a bit of drop-off from nose & flavor but warming still
We’ve been drinking this almost every night lately. Affordable, *********-****, solid for many rounds of sipping. Not overly complex, but then again not everything needs to be. (This pairs well with sangrita, by the way.) It comes from a great distillery with an honest and experienced master distiller.
Updated 21/06/2023 - Aroma of cooked agave, grass and a hint of alcohol. I just opened the bottle so that should burn off. Flavor of agave, black pepper. Medium-long finish. Excellent value for a 1 liter bottle additive-free blanco.
Agave, cinnamon, grass and alcohol. Flavor; cinnamon, smoke, agave, red peppers. Finish short and artificial sweet.
Nose: Pears and cinnamon. Flavor: Pears and cinnamon dominate, with the addition of pepper and sweetness.
Very much reminds me of the Confianza blanco in that it’s soft and approachable. I think the Confianza is a bit more complex and better overall. Gets high marks for being an affordable bottle. I think the community and panel are being a bit harsh on this one.
aroma isn't that great, very roasted smell, lil abrasive on the tounge but it's relatively smooth and tastes like tequila
Not too bad. Not that great either. Not complex enough to describe the notes. It's just a little boring.
NB21050T13 View: completely transparent, good tear adhesion to be 35%. Freshly served; Aroma: some agave, some minerality, lots of high pressure autoclave Pepper and citrus. Taste: pleasant citrus, pepper, some agave. Aftertaste: diffuser or autoclave. I don't give it time to open or oxygenate because I doubt there will be any change.
Tiene notas más cítricas más minerales, suave mas no aguado ideal para el día día
The worst hangover I have ever had
I picked this up for $24… great value for a basic tequila. Great for mixing and Palomas.
I love trying out value brands. I had the reposado and thought it was wonderful in the $20 range. So much so that I needed to go out and get the blanco.
