This had an artificial vanilla taste and a bitter chemical aftertaste. Nothing about this reminded me of tequila. It's just not worth it.

On the nose, sweet agave and Ethanol. Surprisingly more agave than I expected. The nose is actually not terrible. On the palate, it goes downhill very fast. The slightest agave but then ethanol, sharp medicinal notes. It evaporates on the tongue like acetone. This is atrocious. Might be fine in a punch or a squirt and tequila Paloma, but goodness this is awful on its own.

I've a 1.75 liter bottle for two years. So hard to finish. The taste is just bitter and sour, the purest essence of Diffuser made. Nearly comparable to rubbing alcohol with citrus notes.

On the nose Carmel and pepper along with a strong alcohol smell. It's a little thin and take of some type of additive. Not the worst but there are certainly better tequila's available.

Considering how much good tequila I've been drinking that I've rated very well, I thought I'd try this to keep my reviews in perspective. So, here goes... Aroma : Heavy alcohol and medicinal aromas, and solvent. I didn't even detect any agave on this. Taste : Extremely bitter and heavy on alcohol, with some sickly sweet vanilla. Hot and unpleasant. Finish : Long, and not in a good way ; with all the wonderful flavor notes I listed previously. At the very least, you could buy this as a prank gift for all of your tequila fan friends. Then you can drink some Terralta like I'm going to right now to get this awful taste out of my mouth.

Aromas: Pear flavored Easter egg candy, artificial vanilla flavoring, and a subtle chemical undercurrent. Flavor: Bitterness, heat, chemical sweetness leaving a distasteful aftertaste - I literally could not swallow it.

A bottle from 7 or 8 years ago. This is just bad. Smells bad, tastes bad, finish is worse. I have to taste this every once in a while to maintain some perspective.

Ok. Aroma is. It bad with agave and some light fruit. But then I took a sip. Ummmmm. Just yuck. And the the after taste (I shan’t call it a finish) adds to the poor effect overall.

This is pretty bad, it smells like agave but I get tons of sharp alcohols and zero balance on my tongue. Makes a good margarita, leave it at that.

Nose: Agave, wet clay Mouth: waxy dry spicy Palate: has a little dimension to it. The agave is strong, virtually no sweetness Overall it has a lean sharp character. With some air there’s a little caramel Finish is brief but has some nice spring greens in the fade out

Almost gave the finish a 30 because it’s so short that the terrible taste doesn’t linger, awful

The nose has a little bit of cooked agave and something very perfumy/sweet, There is cooked agave, that’s quickly overwhelmed by alcohol and an artificial taste.

A decent smooth finish bottled after distillation to preserve the agave. It has some fruity, herbal notes. It is better for sipping in cocktails. Overall would not recommend just drinking alone as a shot, but it is balanced enough that you can do so if you’d like

Agave aroma. Harsh alcohol flavors that overwhelms the slight sweetness.

Tastes very good compared to its reputation. A pleasant flower or sweet flavor. The finish changes the flavor profile to almost terrible. Probably pretty good for the incredibly cheap price.

Liked this one a lot more than I thought I would going off the other ratings. Really rough strong alcohol smell but a surprisingly clean (if a little medicinal) taste when mixed. Not the best you can get around $20/bottle, but it’s a strong choice for a mixer in my book
