Bottle: LOTE 006TCB23 Appearance: Clear Initial thoughts… Nose: Citrus, cinnamon, grass Palate: Cooked agave, lactic, honey Finish: Black pepper, minerality, brine/salinity Final review pending…

BLANCO Feb 2025 Nose: vegetal, raw agave, pepper, citrus Palate: sweet agave and a mild pepper finish. Finish: short and subtle, possibly from the aeration? Other: Nice slow legs Many tmm reviewers have deducted points for price. My sample was gifted to me, so I'm rating with value = average. No points deducted for cost. That being said, there are other 1146 brands that have more complexity at a better value. but, if u want an easy sipping tequila in a beautiful bottle, this could be your brand.

Great smell of cooked agave. Also a very earthy aroma. Love the agave flavor and the vegetal and mineral taste. Tequila just a little overpriced in my opinion.

Nose: Agave, Mineral, Floral, Fruity, Earthy. Definitely a sweet, vibrant nose Mouthfeel: Medium Bodied Palate: Agave, Mineral, Banana Finish: Agave, Minerality, Clove and Black Pepper A lot of points lost for price.

Loses points due to being overpriced. As a result, I wouldn't recommend it. Nice agave flavor on the finish.

Aroma is full of sweet floral notes, maybe a little berry and definitely cooked agave. Flavor is surprisingly spicy (pepper versus baking-type) after the sweet floral aroma. Peppery spice continues and evolves to an almond bitterness. Nice finish but relatively short. 2023-12-22

Unique profile. Some floral and citrus but also tart and slightly astringent.

Overall this is a very nice blanco. Cooked agave and cinnamon come through on the nose and palate for me. Lots of vegetal notes as well. Very green. It’s very soft with little burn. I like it but the price point and the bottle design are excessive. If this was a $60 or less I think it would get much higher marks from more people.

Very nice mouthfeel. Lots of agave, brine and subtle floral & citrus finish. A bit pricey for a blanco but I do find it very pleasant & easy to drink.

NOSE : Cooked agave, green olives, and citrus PALATE: Cinnamon, clean agave, and fennel. FINISH: Slight alcohol burn

N- a little green agave, citrus like lemon and grapefruit T- agave, black pepper, more citrus, alcohol MF- thin F- short and hot V- I can find better for less

Agave, citrus, grapefruit and pepper on the nose. Flavor a light agave, strong pepper but lacking additional complexity. This isn’t a bad tequila but for price there are better options. Nice presentation.

The wet part of the cork was black so maybe this fouled the bottle

Dusty, pepper, cinnamon, some mineral notes. A lactic trace. Not real robust aromas or flavor. Tasted Blind at Quinta Don José 8/19/2019

Me encanta el final Largo y seco, interesante textura picante en boca.

  • 83 Rating

Agave and mineral nose with strong character and a lingering finish. At the price point I wish it was more complex, particularly in the aroma.

  • 85 Rating

My favorite part of this tequila is the flavor and finish. Sweet cooked agave, an oily thick mouthfeel, and a long finish. Aroma is muted, some minerals but not much else.

  • 87 Rating

I like this a lot more than the other ratings would suggest. I know the knock here is the price, but this is excellent 1146 liquid. savory tequila. buttery, slightly malolactic nose and palate. raw and cooked agave. some brine. thoroughly enjoyable.

This Blanco Private Collection T is incredible packaging but sadly I thought it had very little complexity to the nose. Only Aromas of acetone and maybe some raw Agave or Olive. smooth mouth feel with a very short finish and very little burn for a blanco.

Just not a fan. Aroma has this meaty/metallic component that hits you right away then fades. come back to it a bit later and same. thankfully the flavor doesn't reflect it and the finish is very nice.

  • 78 Rating

It's got a decent amount of agave flavor with a very heavy degree of mineral taste. Not excessively peppery or sweet. It's not bad, but at the price it's just not worth it, even for the beautiful bottle. I'd rather spend half the price and drink something else.

I have to say I’m a bit surprised and disappointed with this offering. Usually, I’ve been a fan of releases from NOM1146 but there’s just something I can’t get beyond. Perhaps it’s a bad bottle. The nose: I get cooked agave, fruity, but there is this off putting aroma between anchovy / soy sauce. I thought I was going crazy but I let it open up and few minutes and came back to it. Not as intense but it was still there. Taste: Cooked agave, sweet, overripe banana, savory, a hint of pepper, medium finish. Perhaps I’ll revisit this down the road but I’m having a hard time reconciling the nose and taste. Making it tough to enjoy it at the moment.

it’s decent and a great distillery but everything is just fine to me and I don’t care to drink it again and not recommending so the numbers are low. others should give it a chance if you have to try it.

  • 77 Rating

This is definitely a fine tequila. Not my favorite but good. Flavor was not spectacular as you would expect from a multiple award winning brand. I don't buy all that noise. If it wasnt overpriced than points would have been granted.
