Aroma: 21/25 Funky diesel. Almost rum funk like. Underneath lies black pepper, butter, and a general green blur. Palate: 26/30 Think luscious mouth feel. Dense, heavy, and a sense of moisture in the air so to speak. Mild agave. Heat on the sides of the tongue on the backend. Finish: 21/25 Value: 6/10 $55 in San Francisco. Not the best value when combined with the specific flavor profile.

Amazing bright agave, citrus, mineral aroma. Flavor is right on with the aroma with a mineral boost which I love, very enjoyable! Nice nosey finish. ¡¿Que mas quieres?!

Sweet green tea mixes with carmelized agave on the nose with some citrus notes as you approach the glass. Creamy mouthfeel accentuated with darker spices on the palate, faint cinnamon, chamomile, balanced with minerality and saline. A highly contemplative and compelling expression with a lingering silky finish. An amazing tequila!

Nose: Cooked agave leads, backed by petrichor and a clean minerality that gives the glass some depth. Honeysuckle, fresh cut grass, and citrus bring a bright lift. There’s even a trace of smoke. The overall impression is vibrant and refreshing, giving me outdoor vibes after a spring rain. Palate & Mouthfeel: It coats the mouth with a thin but slightly oily texture. Up front: sweet agave and light honey. That’s followed by floral vegetal notes, cinnamon, and a pop of citrus. Nothing overly complex, but what it delivers, it nails. Closest thing I’ve tasted to Lalo, which to me, is a very unique profile - only this one wears it better. Finish: Smooth and gently warming. The sweetness lingers more than the spice, making for a mellow, easygoing close that keeps pulling you back in. Final Thoughts: This is a great blanco. Nothing showy, but confident in its simplicity, and that’s the point. I get why this one has a following. The hype is earned.

Very nice. A little rough. It lets you know it’s there! Aroma is wonderful. Taste and finish are a little hot but overall good flavors.

Amazing value for a top quality Blanco. Roasted agave all the way through to the finish, it has an abrupt dry finish that I love. This is a gem.

Lot 01 Bottle 545. Bottled 5/22/23. Nice mellow smell of agave, minerals, citrus. Earthy and vegetal. Taste is all agave forward with minerals and citrus. Very nice taste of vanilla on the finish. This is so light and clean and easy to drink. Well done 1414!

Some nice notes of agave, oregano, sage and natural sweetness on the tongue. A bit surprised at the herbal notes but it's well integrated in the body of the spirit. A bit of a short finish.

An outstanding blanco from the Vivanco distillery. Although production methods are comparable to other brands out of 1414, this expression has a lot to offer. First off, this is a very agave forward blanco. Sure, light citrus, minerality, and pepper is here but cooked agave is what is persuading this tequila lover to come back for more. The finish is also exceptional, leaving a long agave finish dancing on the palate well after most would hang up the taps.

Nose: sweet agave cooked / peppermint/ mineral/ hint of fruit / grapefruit/ lemongrass/ lavender Taste: sweet agave / cinnamon/ peppermint/ vanilla/ anise / hint of pineapple/ grapefruit/ lime/ lemongrass/ orange peel/ tea / nutmeg/ hint of tobacco/ hint of cream soda Finish: very light viscosity mouthfeel/ lingering sweet agave / anise / cinnamon/ vanilla. Super bright and sweet on front of tongue with nice contrasting peppermint note on final swallow This blanco has a very bright and crisp sweet punch at the start of the sip that’s fantastic. The peppermint and other flavors come in and greet you mid taste, but them they lay back on the couch to watch Netflix while the sweet sisters of anise and agave come back to entertain you to the end. Nice balance and a great sipper.

This blanco smells delicious. Agave first followed by several fruits. Pineapple , apple, banana, orange. There is also earthiness to it. Very complex bouquet. The taste follows the nose. So tasty on the palate. Agave forward. Does have some pepper and the follows with fruits. I get minerals and earthiness. A slightly alcohol burn on the finish but the taste of sweet agave lingers. This is one you should have in your collection. This comes very close to its HP brother (which I rate a 90)

There's a familiar fruity, peppery, wet grass and earthy smell I get with this one. Cooked agave and anise also seem to shine through on the nose. The body is between light and medium viscosity and the finish is earth, cooked agave pepper and sweet melon. Absolutely delightful. This is one of the top 1414 blancos ive tried to date. Salud!

Aroma: The Sweet Cooked Agave and Cinnamon are the first notes I pick up. This is followed by Citrus in the form of Lime. A White Pepper note is also present. There is also a Mineral and Wet Cement aroma to this. Green aromas like Grass, Anise, and a Vegetalness do incorporate themselves. And after several minutes a nice Floral note makes it's way into the party. Taste: Sweet Cooked Agave mixing with Cinnamon and White Pepper are the initial flavors. The Limey Citrus aroma has made it's way to the taste. The Grassy, Anise, and Vegetal flavors do blend very well. A Briny/Olive component is here on the taste. The Minerality is present. And there is a nice Floral presence as this goes through the mid palate. Finish: The Sweet Agave mixing with the greener flavors of the Grass, Anise, and Vegetal mixing with the Citrus and White Pepper carry you through the finish line. Along with the Briny notes. I found that this needed about 20 minutes in the glass to fully open itself up from the neck pour. I'm glad I was patient! This is yet another Phenomenal Tequila produced at 1414 by Sergio Cruz! I’m working with a small sample but the nose is excellent. It’s the 1414 agave punch that I expect. The taste is agave for days and nice minerality and citrus before a peppery finish. It’s rustic. It hits my preferred profile.

Has a really nice nose full of floral and agave. The flavor does not disappoint either. Soft mouthfeel yet viscous with bright notes of agave, lemon, minerals and anise. Really enjoyed!!

I tried all three expressions at the 2023 LATF industry party and really enjoyed them. I will revisit and add my notes when when I get more
