Blind tasting with AMM: This was a fresh, green leaning blanco with a bright and slightly savory profile. On the nose, cooked agave comes through first, followed by black pepper and a grassy, green note. There’s a hint of olive that adds a subtle savory touch, along with orange peel that brings a bit of citrus brightness. On the palate, the cooked agave leads again, supported by black pepper and a noticeable wet grass character that gives it a crisp, natural feel. Citrus comes through with a tangerine-like sweetness, while vegetal notes round out the profile and keep it grounded. The finish is a bit short, fading quicker than expected but leaving behind light citrus and green notes. Overall, this is a clean, easy drinking blanco with a fresh, grassy profile. It doesn’t linger long, but it’s enjoyable and approachable while it lasts.
