Sweet cooked agave right away, pretty forward. Behind that, a lot of green character like fresh herbs, damp earth, and a light salty note that keeps it from feeling too rich. A touch of mint lifts it up. Palate & Mouthfeel: Light texture, but the flavor hits hard. Sweet agave comes in first, then a big wave of raw, green vegetal notes takes over and really drives it. It’s assertive with crushed herbs, leafy intensity, and a peppery spice layered over a steady mineral core. There’s an anise note underneath that adds a little depth, but this is mostly about that bold, green profile pushing through. Finish: Clean and lasting. The vegetal and herbal notes hang on the longest, backed by that mineral edge, while the sweetness drops off. Final Thoughts: This leans into a louder, greener profile than most. The sweetness pulls you in, but the palate is where it really opens up and shows its character. Not for everyone, but if you like bold, vegetal tequilas - this delivers big time.

Sweetness on the nose with a little herbal / vegetal. Pretty easy to nose. Definitely loud on the palate, starts off buzzing but pretty nice. Finish calms down pretty quick. I like it. Sample Provided by Agave Swappers for Review

On the nose: vegital and cooked agave explosion! It’s so sweet and yet full of vegital notes. It has a salty mierality to it as well that reminds of the rainforest floor. On the pallet: the vegital notes and cooked agave notes are really strong. It’s minty, salty, floral, There’s an anise note that rides the bottom and lasts long into the finish. Overall: this is a really fun and complex tequila! I love innovation without sacrificing process and this bottle does just that. There are some notes, reminiscent of my favorite bottles of raicilla but overall it is still full on tequila flavors with that cooked agave driving. From the price point, to the bottle design, to the tequila itself, this is a no-brainer for anyone that loves interesting and unique express expressions of tequila!

This is HP blanco is an agave bomb. On the nose I'm getting strong cooked agave notes. The flavor is pretty much sweetness from the agave and quiote. You get that creamy agave punch with intense flavors. The finish is very complex but enjoyable. Now to compare this with the regular Xolo Fuerte Valle bottle.

Long lasting tears running down the glass very oily texture on the glass on the Nose Straight cooked Agave right in your face along with some herbal notes and just a touch of funk. On the palate Sweet cooked Agave right away followed by a minty note. black pepper and a green herbal note that is very inviting. This could be highly crushable very easy even with the higher proof

Sample via Agave Swappers Nose: very vegetal and fresh, tropical fruit (pineapple and mango?), cooked agave Taste: sweet cooked agave, black pepper, some of the fruitiness from the nose, less vegetal but it's still there Finish: the vegetal and fruity notes come back on the finish followed by black pepper and some mint Overall: It's a very interesting tequila and I like the flavor of this one more than the Valles Fuerte. I typically lean towards a sweeter and less vegetal tequila, so I rated this a little lower than it probably deserves. If you want a tequila that is different than anything you've had, this is a great one. Don't let my review scare you away from this one, it just doesn't fit my palate. If I ever see it on the shelves in MN, I'll definitely buy it to see if it grows on me over time.

I love the natural sweetness this tequila brings. Very easy to drink for a high proof the cooked agave, cinnamon, and herbal flavors are very balanced. Overall, a very enjoyable high proof blanco.
