“I really like this. Super sweet, bright agave punch. ”

“I prefer this over the Heritage. Really good all around. It does carry some bite/heat from the slightly higher ABV. The Montagave stuff overall has an astringency that’s a little much for me, but this one has some sweetness to balance it out. I found it for reasonable price. ”

“Odd that they put “slow roasted” on label when this is cooked in autoclave. Tastes/smells like it has some additives to me. Other than that - not bad. Works pretty well for margaritas but there’s also similarly priced tequilas for cocktails that are better. ”

“In my opinion, this does have a pretty unique flavor. I really was taken aback by how sweet it is, in a good way. Just punches you in the face with bright agave. I am not sure if it’s from the criollos or not, but it has a natural sweetness that does not exist in most tequilas. I personally love the flavor and it’s unquestionably one of the best tasting blancos I’ve ever had. The price? Yeah - kinda feels like you’re paying an extra $30-$40 for marketing and nice packaging. I don’t think the price is insane, but it’s a little high. I would still buy it again. ”

“In the $300 XA range, I would recommend this. I am fairly certain this is additive-free. It’s got a very nice XA flavor. Didn’t blow me away. But it is the coolest looking bottle you can buy and the tequila inside doesn’t have a bunch of crap added to it. That’s kinda hard to find in the awesome-looking bottle, XA space. ”

“Wow. This was better than I was expecting. I like G4 blanco, but I enjoy this quite a bit more than the normal blanco. This thing is thick, super sweet and just perfect amount of heat at 90%. Got an interesting nose with just a touch of funk. Highly recommend. ”

“Right to the top of the list of high-proof blancos for me. The aroma is on par with the regular blanco, which is basically perfection. Can’t get over the aroma. Same minerality and sweetness you get from the blanco and Cerro de Luz. The overall flavor profile is similar to the blanco. Get more anise with this one, but just the right amount. Spice and heat because, well, it’s 50% ABV. Wild Common seems to be pumping out the very best of NOM 1123. ”

“Incredible aroma. The flavor for me did not match the incredible smell. For my taste, it’s a little on the bitter side. ”

“Love the way this smells. So many different aromas in there. Really bright sweetness on taste followed by a lot of anise (almost too much for my personal taste). Reminiscent of Tapatio 110. Lots of spice from the high proof, but very drinkable. Find this more drinkable than many tequilas that are lower proof. Long finish. ”

“Soft, subdued nose, but clean and has that altos smell. Even from the first drink, you’re surprised how easy this goes down. I won’t use the s-word, but let’s just say it’s not rough. Some nice agave sweetness, a little cinnamon. Really pleasant. Yep - this is kind of “one note” if you want to call it that. But it is damn tasty and insanely drinkable. One of the best examples of a tequila that appeals to the masses while using traditional processes. ”

“Lot 1. Wow. Exceeded expectations. One of the best smelling blancos I’ve had. Butterscotch when I stick my nose in the bottle. Nose and taste are dominated by natural agave sweetness. Cinnamon. Sweet, drinkable, but complex. Just enough heat. About as good a blanco as I’ve had. In terms of the taste and aroma, probably my #1 blanco in the world that’s not a specialty release. Price is on the high side; not complaining, but it affects the scoring. ”

“Never could find a bottle. Had a couple times at Suerte in Austin, TX. Agave and minerals. The nose is incredible. Earthy. Couldn’t stop smelling it. Perfect amount of heat. Wish I could drink this year round. ”

“Butter and spice. On the back, I get a lot of dry bitterness that is not there on the regular reposado. Really nice heat that matches the ABV and nice finish. Definitely prefer the regular repo, but this is still very good and fun to try. ”
