Very complex high proof with a long finish! On the nose, the alcohol was a little hot! I’ve heard people say this is the best high proof ever made, but I disagree! Cascahuin has a couple of higher proof blancos (Destino and 11 Brix) that I personally think blow this out of the water. I will be doing a Puntas 21,23,24 blind to see who takes the top spot! Blind Update - Well, this one won! It was a Tie in score between 2021 and 2024, but I picked 2021 because it had a better balance than 2024. 2024 came in with a major punch of flavor, whereas 2021 had a great punch and was more pleasant to sip. 1st - 2021 (Blind rating 89) AMM score 90 2nd - 2024 (Blind rating 89) AMM score 90 3rd - 2023 (Blind rating 83) AMM score 89

AMM 2025 Blanco Blind Tasting Kit: Aroma of black pepper, mint, celery, cooked agave, minerals with some bell pepper, maybe a hint of green olive. Smells clean. Really nice aroma. On the palate, much of the same mintiness cooked agave, black pepper, a little bit of honey with a good amount of minerality and wet stone. A nice oily mouth feel which seems indicative of good quality. The finish is lengthy with some pepper mid heat pretty lengthy overall seems like a high-quality Tequila. 2nd day- Aroma still really good. Likely best of all. Palate still really good with a very pleasant finish. I like this one a lot.
