Viva Mexico Tahona This is the first NOM1414 tequila made using their new Tahona! It’s also released at 48% ABV - 96 proof! The higher proof delivers a nice nose with medium intensity. The cooked agave is strong and there’s a pleasant minerality along with some slight salinity. There’s also some zesty citrus, a hint of melon and some soft vegetal notes. The flavors are intensified by the proof but it’s not overly intense. The cooked agave is strong and so is the minerality that’s followed by some salinity. The citrus zest kicks in and it’s quickly followed by some zesty capsaicins. There’s a little bit of cinnamon and white pepper. Overall this is a great higher proof tahona blanco. It’s made in an artisinal way and the final product is off the highest quality.

Nose: agave fruit grass yeast minerality Palate: sweet cooked agave minerality some citrus, a little yeast and a pepper kick. If u let it sit long enough, you'll also get anise. Finish: sweet and also vegetal, mild heat that accelerates as it lingers. Doesn't drink like high proof. easy sipper
