Blind tasting with AMM: This was a really enjoyable blanco with a classic, well balanced profile that stayed true from nose to palate. On the nose, cooked agave leads the way, followed by bright citrus and a vegetal backbone. Black pepper adds a bit of lift, while earthy notes round it out and give it a grounded, natural feel. On the palate, the nose translates almost directly. Cooked agave remains front and center, supported by citrus and black pepper. Vegetal and earthy notes carry through, with a touch of minerality adding some structure and depth. The finish is where this one really stands out nice and lingering with a viscous, oily mouthfeel that coats the palate and keeps the flavors hanging on. Overall, a solid blanco with good balance and a satisfying texture that makes it easy to sip and enjoy.
Aroma and flavors are pretty well matched agave, green veg, and minerals. Nice minty green finish.
Blind tasting with AMM: Lovely aroma with sweet agave, fruit, and celery. Flavors are fairly simple delivering sweet agave and pepper and a slight vegetal undertone. It’s watery in the mouth but leaves a nice peppery finish. Easy to recommend.
A nose that jumps out to meet you. Vanilla bean, florals(gardina, wildflower), anise, petrichor, zesty lime peel, orange and fresh green pepper. The palate follows the nose, although it is slightly clipped on the finish. A rush of brine on first arrival as well as green olives, minerality, anise, lime, orange peel and flower garden. The nose is my favorite part of this blanco, it completely envelops you. It’s fresh, zesty and full of character. The palate is also nice with brine, minerality and some green olives coming into the fold. The finish is good, but doesn’t quite reach the level found on the nose and palate.
• Visual: Good viscosity. Clear with clear medium edge. • Initial Nasal Impact: Warming. • Aroma: Herbal, green agave, white pepper, anise, jalapeño, lemon zest. • Mouthfeel: Oily w/ sufficient alcohol. • Flavor: Mezcal - like, BBQ sauce, smoke, anise, citrus - lemon zest, dried tropical fruit. • Finish: Med/long with the smoke , BBQ sauce, anise still there. Mild lemon zest.
There’s a ton of black pepper on the aroma here, it dominates completely. Flavor shows cooked agave, peppermint, grass, a little olive, with a thick mouthfeel. Not overly complex, but a solid sipper.
Vegetal with a hint of honey on the nose. very vegetal on the taste with a bit of citrus on the end. Short finish.
Nice sipper, what you'd expect out of 1414, the sake give it nice note, faint but there. All in all its sweet agave, nice pepper notes, good value in $40-50 range.
Vessel: CT Jarrito Nose: Minerality, Herbal, Citrus, Lemongrass, Chamomile Palate: Cooked Agave, Raw Agave, Minerality, Lemongrass, Herbal, Chamomile Finish: Minerality, Lemongrass, Herbal, Chamomile, Pepper An outstanding new addition to the 1414 portfolio with a new unique Spin!
The Brand is owned by Dheeraj Naidu. He worked with Sergio Cruz to find a different profile. They succeeded with using Sake Yeast in their fermentation. This brand isn't available Stateside, yet. But, I do suggest finding it once it is!!! The production began with 6+ year Agaves being harvested. Once harvested the were slow cooked in Stone/Brick Ovens before being Macerated with Roller Mills. The Fermentation was done in Stainless Tanks with Sake Yeasts. It was then distilled twice in Copper Stills before a slight rest in Stainless Tanks with Oak Staves being added. It was then bottled at 40%ABV. I was fortunate to have this today and later have dinner with Dheeraj and his wife Brundi. Aroma: Raw Agave and Lemongrass run out the gates. Citrus also plays a major part. Cinnamon adds a nice spice note. There is a nice Vegetal note along with a very Herbal Complexity as this open up. Towards the end, a light Vanilla note enters the game. Taste: Sweet Cooked Agave mixes with a Raw Agave. Lemongrass blends itself with soft Herbal notes. A nice kick of Cinnamon and Black Pepper give this a spiciness. The Citrus from the nose continues to the palate! And Again, there is a faint Vanilla that has just enough Oak backbone to let you know there is a little wood present. Finish: Sweet Agave lingers with Citrus, Herbs, Cinnamon with Pepper hanging on the longest. This is a very easy sipper that will please many palates. Keep an eye out for Rimari!!! TMM--87 Salud!!!
Amazing profile! Tasting notes coming soon
Nose: Cooked agave leads with a touch of citrus and green herbs. There’s a light floral accent and a dusting of spice, but nothing too bold. The profile feels straightforward, leaning clean and crisp rather than layered. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium in body, smooth and easygoing. Cooked agave and citrus carry the flavor, joined by mild pepper and a hint of cinnamon. A soft vegetal note lingers in the background. The overall impression is balanced but restrained, without the punch or depth of higher-tier blancos. Finish: Clean and simple, with agave and pepper fading gently. It lingers just enough to remind you of the core flavors, then leaves the palate refreshed. Final Thoughts: Rimari Blanco is not overly complex but is solid - a reliable, approachable tequila that does its job without reaching for fireworks. It’s not aiming to impress collectors with complexity, but as a budget friendly sipper or mixer, it offers good value and honest agave character.

Tequila Rimari Blanco Tasting Notes Nose: Lots of minerality, pepper, vegetal, lemon, sweet cooked agave, grass, and yeast/dough. As it opens, floral notes also emerge. Palate: lemongrass is prevalent on the palate, along with sweet cooked agave, sake wine, bread, a little cinnamon, citrus and pepper. Finish: Medium to long, lingering... sweet cooked agave, fruit (call me crazy, but a punch of peach sneaks in there!) with a mildly spicy pepper kick at the very end. The sake yeast brings a slightly different flavor profile to this expression, one that I really enjoy. This is a nice sipper. Easy to recommend. Happy Sipping! from previous review... AMM Blinds March 2026 #1 minerality, mint, citrus, pepper with some sweet agave. at first, I got an artesenal mildly smokey profile that dissipated
Sergio Cruz did it again, this time using sake yeast. It's absolutely amazing, a nice floral soft sweet fragrant fruity presence...I really like this one. Easily an 89.
Lote RIMBCO2520 bottled on 24/02/25, tasted on 5-2-26. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light acidity, light earthiness, hint of pepper spiciness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light sweet cooked agave is quite pronounced on the palate too. Good sweet & sour balance. Finish is medium to long, light sweet cooked agave with earthiness and a hint of pepper spiciness persists.
Sample sent from Matt in Agave Swappers Club. Nose: Minerality, with a hint of agave and a touch of cinnamon Palate: Mild agave with a very pleasant sweetness and peach flavor Finish: Minerality cones on and the peach morphs into a more generic stone fruit and a little more agave comes forward
Cooked agave and citrus lead the nose with orange peel and a fresh vegetal note. The palate brings agave, black pepper, and minerals, with a slight metallic edge and some heat. Crisp, earthy, and a bit punchy on the finish.
Agave swappers sample Nose: citrus, funk, bread, earthy/herbal Taste: citrus, peppery, funk Finish: citrus, peppery, slight fruit
Nose: Slightly funky with sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, and a touch of minerality. Palate: Leads with sweet agave and cinnamon, light-bodied with a thin mouthfeel but clean, honest flavor. Finish: Light and quick, with a slight burn and lingering sweet agave warmth. Conclusion: Simple and agave-forward with a bit of funk and spice — an easy sipper and a solid showing from Rimari Blanco. Provided via the Agave Swappers Facebook Group)
Sample via Agave Swappers Nose: Cooked agave, limes, minerals Taste: Cooked agabe, grapefruit, oranges, black pepper, minerals Finish: The citrus notes follow into the finish, along with some black pepper and mint Overall: Really nice tequila. The nose is familiar but the flavor is quite unique, as I haven't really picked up grapefruit from any other tequilas I've tried.
Received as a sample from Agave Swappers Aroma: crisp agave and light minerals Taste: very light and well balanced. I picked up agave, some slight fruity effervescent notes, and mild pepper. I think the sake yeast really mellows it out Finish: short. Not the usual strong hits of pepper I’m used to from blancos, which I’m guessing might be from the sake yeast. Overall: I like it!

Aroma is very unusual on this one in a good way. Very earthy and mesquite. Not Smokey but reminds me of a bbq. Kind of reminds me of the bark on a really good piece of meat. There’s a Smokey element but also a sweet glaze element. Really interested by this one. Green vegetal as well and a hint of agave. Flavor is less complex than the aroma. Green vegetal comes through. There’s a soft sweetness like yam. Not the most complex flavor considering how different the aroma was but good. Finish is short but there’s a medium viscosity which is nice.
