Zumbador Blanco High Proof
“Zumbador High Proof 54% ABV was worth the wait! The 40% ABV Blanco is sweet on the palate, with that unmistakable Los Altos agave character. It’s amazing how the higher ABV changes the complexity and flavors. The High Proof is buttery, with a beautiful agave punch. On the nose, it’s softer than the 40% ABV, and I love comparing the two because they’re both delicious in their own way. Less dilution, more flavor. ”

Mayenda Tequila Blanco
“Got this as a gift. My buddy bought it at $20 clearance sale. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! Nose is fresh and lite. Taste is good with a long tangy finish (in a good way). It feels to me like a non-smokey mezcal and tequila blend me. I would buy if available in $20’s. But for $30+ it’s a pass for me. ”

Pocho Fino Grilled Pineapple
“Artificial everything. Bought it for the celebrity connection. Unfortunately, was a very unpleasant drink and nose. Would not recommend. ”

Tequila G4 Reposado
“G4 feels and tastes overrated. It’s too soft on the palate. Short finish with no flavor standing out to me. Maybe my palate is less developed. Or I’m a fan of traditional tequilas, not modern ones. I don’t understand the hype. ”

Cimarron Reposado
“Nice Lactic funk. Not too much barrel, which is a good thing. Very agave forward. Amazing value for the quality, $30 at CA Total Wine. ”
