“I really wanted to like it, but there was a funky little after taste that I couldn’t unnotice. Maybe because I hav not had any experience with anything aged in a wine barrel. It’s like when you eat sugar all your life, then you try some Splenda, I don’t know. Damn expensive too! Trying it again and I think I’m getting use to it or I’m getting a little buzzed. The front is good, vanilla, and some okie sweetness, the back is almost like pecans which I haven’t had that happen.”

“Damn, this stuff was great! Sweet agave , caramel, fruit, cinnamon,and wood notes. I’ve heard people say it is too sweet, I don’t believe this to be so, I believe it is very balanced. The value is up to the drinker, I won’t buy it, mine was given to me as a present.”

“Sweet agave on the front end, you can really taste the bourbon because of the long storage in the bourbon barrels. A little caramel, some wood with a touch of cinnamon. To be honest, I thought it would be more caramel buttery kind of thing but, it was intense flavors with a little more burn than I expected. Not what I expected but I really liked it.”

“Not bad for an anejo, not spectacular, but not bad. I would definitely drink it again. Front end starts with cooked agave, it doesn’t last long , the second part hits with some burn going down the throat, there is some complexity to it, different people will taste different things. Update: The more I drink it, the better I like it.”
