It’s good, it’s budget, it’s what you might enjoy in a cocktail or a smooth movie watching mindless drinking experience. “This is the wet dream of high proofs.. The smell is unlike anything l've ever smelled, when I actually took a drink of this the only thing that came out of my mouth was, "WHOAAA!" this is for sure a high proof! I've been waiting a very long time to try Tapatio here in North Carolina. No surprise for a local, it is very difficult to get the bottles that you want. Not only did this not disappoint, but I would even go as far as to say It's satiated my desires. 7/10”

“I ordered this as a single neat at a local bar of mine in North Carolina. It was given to me in a short whiskey glass which could possibly be affecting my overall rating of the beverage not to be that asshole but I’ve gotten pretty used to the Lamborghini of tequila drinking vessels and now it’s pretty hard to enjoy even a great drink out, anyway thisis a great drink. 4 out of 10. I will probably use this as my gifting beverage going forward.”

“Bargain price, excellent mouth feel. Could’ve fooled me into thinking that was a still strength bottle. Maybe that’s a bit of a daft comment given it 46% but still…. 06.25.24 One additional note I wanted to make is I’ve been on a bit of a Blanco kick and so it might be rated as high as it is because I’m just really enjoying the Blanco ride right now so I reserve the right to change my mind. I ranked it at an 89 today dead sober would be interested, to see the rating again when I get back onto the Anjo or reposado kick. ”

Just because it’s hard to get it doesn’t mean it should sway your rating of the tequila taste and quality… I would die to see what people would rate this in a blind tasting I’m not saying it’s bad in fact I think it’s pretty good, but am I gonna bump up my rating just because I was the lucky individual to stumbled upon it in a bar? Please! I would take a hard look at the “honey badgers” on this app thinking that it’s worth a 96. But hey, that’s me being honest… take it or leave it. If you’re getting a 95 or above that better be reserved for something absolutely unbelievably excellent.”

“Totally average, finish is water, flavour is nice. I’d finish the bottle and appreciate it as a gift but wouldn’t think to repurchase 06.25 I gave it a lot more thought and an additional taste on another day and an additional taste on another day and continue to drink this bottle. I have decided I really genuinely do not like the mouth feel. That might have something to do with the fact that as I’ve procured higher quality bottles of tequila I realised this is not for me.”

This wasn’t my vibe maybe it’s yours? Sorry to say this is my least favourite Ocho to date… ”
