“Crystal clear blanco that clings to the glass with medium slow tears. Pleasant aroma with lots of agave and minerality. Some citrus notes as well such as Lime that then turned to Green Olive. Very complex aroma . A lot going on that seems to change as it opens up. Coats your tongue and mouth nicely with thick agave and minerals like the aroma. Addition sips brought out some mint and even a slight charcoal followed by a bit of smoke. Each sip seems to bring on different flavors and numbs your tongue for a while until it slowly fades. As others have said, a Top 10 blanco for me. Will be interesting to compare to the 2013.”

LALO Tequila Blanco
“Not as good as I was expecting based on the reviews. Maybe just the batch I had. I’ve heard some inconsistency. Definitely not a high 80s rated juice in the bottle I tasted.”

Fortaleza Blanco (Still Strength)
“Similar to the blanco of course, but just a step up in flavor and mouthfeel. High-proof, but still low alcohol in flavor. A”

Volcan de Mi Tierra X.A Reposado
“Good XA, but overall I thought it was too hot for a 40 ABV tequila and bring an XA. Need a second evaluation to truly get a good judgement ”
