“2022 Bottle #2,810 Very light, subtle, golden tint. Nose: Agave forward. Alcohol is not too hot. Some oak & vanilla. Slight caramel, cinnamon. Pepper is in background. Taste: Agave is sweetened by the vanilla & caramel. Medium viscosity. Slight minerality. Finish: Nice, lingering finish. Definitely pepper and cinnamon dominant. The bourbon cask influence was present. Added depth. Allowed me to identify subtle tastes that I missed the first few times. ”

“Aroma: Nice, rich agave. Oak barrel and slight butterscotch. Flavor: Agave forward with touch of spices. Slight mineral taste. Finish: Medium. Sweet with pepper overtones. Very pleasant sipper. Anejo is not my favorite type. I think I would enjoy the Extra Anejo over the Anejo. I may revisit this one after 20 minutes. Smoother and more balanced after 20 minutes. More spice and oak. Pepper more pronounced at finish. ”
